Partnerships
KEMRA has formed partnerships with companies and other related organizations including paint manufacturing companies, Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) , Motor Assessors Association of Kenya (MAAK) and National Association of Kenya Investigators (NAKI).
KEMRA has partnered with Business Advocacy Fund (BAF) who has helped build organizational structures. KEMRA is also of Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) and we give input on issues concerning transport. KEMRA works with various government institutions in various matters such as setting of industry standards, development of regulations and any other matter related to the motor industry. Other areas that KEMRA has partnered with government are in development of appropriate standards for passenger vehicles.
KEMRA was also invited to sit in KEBS technical committee TC-122 when the committee participated in the development of code of practice on importation of used automotive spare parts referred to as Kenya Standard dks2190-2009.
KEMRA has created value for our members through training seminars where workshop managers and artisans are chosen from various repair centers to have the concurrent skills in technology and related events. You can be assured that KEMRA is at the forefront of motor repair industry creating conducive environment for our valued members and other stake holders in the industry.
